This page takes you through my current offering of training programmes & the overall curriculum of skills that each puppy & owner learns with me.

How It Works
Each programme follows the same basic outline:
Step One: Education Session
All relationships benefit from a deeper understanding of each other & our relationship with our puppy is no different. Hosted on Teams, I take you through a bespoke presentation looking at what makes your unique puppy tick, how to create the behaviours we want & change the behaviours we don’t & how to create a strong bond with them that will last a lifetime. This session is usually around 90 minutes to 2 hours & sets you up to get the most from the rest of your programme.
Step Two: Your Programme Begins
All programmes are 12 weeks long, but differ in terms of how much contact you & your puppy have with me – I will recommend the programmes I think will suit you best after our initial contact & you will be able to choose from there. Each programme is outlined below.
Step Three: Graduation Session
At the end of your programme, each puppy receives a certificate of completion & we go through a handover session together. The aim of this session is to leave you with the skills & confidence to continue training your puppy without my help, however, I appreciate that many clients wish to continue their training journey with me. I now have follow-on programmes to choose from, supporting you all the way through your puppy’s first 2 years if you would like to continue working together.
The Programmes
Puppy Start Right – Diamond Level
This is my signature programme, combining one-to-one ‘train together’ sessions with ‘trained for you’ sessions with me in the daycare. This is the highest level of support & guidance I offer & sets you & your puppy up with all the foundational skills you need to build a beautiful life together.
How It Works:
In-person, one-to-one training sessions every other week guide you through handling exercises & training games to play with your puppy. I demonstrate each activity, then hand over to you so that you can practise with constructive feedback, ensuring you & your puppy are learning effectively together. Sessions take place at your home & out in the local area, depending on the skills we are working on.
Alongside this, your puppy attends daycare weekly at my 5-star licensed, home-based daycare in Shipley. Here they have the chance to socialise with my group of puppy-friendly adult dogs, go for a walk as part of the pack & continue working towards their training goals with me – all while you work or have time to yourself! You have the option of half days, full days or a combination & they can attend from one to four times a week, depending on availability.
As a bonus – the diamond level includes free social walks for you & your puppy to attend throughout the course of your programme.
Cost:
Prices vary depending on daycare attendance, but as a guide:
Puppy Start Right with 1 half day a week in the daycare (minimum) = £900 (or 3 x £300 paid every 4 weeks)
Puppy Start Right with 3 full days & 1 half day a week in the daycare (maximum) = £2520 (or 3 x £840 paid every 4 weeks)
