Puppy Start Right – Signature Programme

This is my most popular programme – combining one-to-one ‘train together’ sessions with ‘trained for you’ sessions with me in the daycare. This is the highest level of support & guidance I offer & sets you & your puppy up with all the foundational skills you need to build a beautiful life together. Any problem behaviours that you have noticed will be worked on & future issues will be mitigated.

How It Works:

In-person, one-to-one training sessions every other week guide you through handling exercises & training games to play with your puppy. I demonstrate each activity, then hand over to you so that you can practise with constructive feedback, ensuring you & your puppy are learning effectively together. Sessions take place at your home & out in the local area, depending on the skills we are working on.

Alongside this, your puppy attends daycare weekly at my 5-star licensed, home-based daycare in Moorhead, Shipley. Here they have the chance to socialise with my group of puppy-friendly adult dogs, go for walks as part of the pack & continue working towards their training goals with me – all while you work or have time to yourself! You have the option of half days, full days or a combination & they can attend from one to four times a week, depending on your needs.

As a bonus – the signature programme includes free social walks for you & your puppy to attend throughout the course of your programme.

Prices vary depending on daycare attendance, but as a guide:

The Signature Programme with minimum daycare sessions = £900 (or 3 x £300 paid every 4 weeks)

The Signature Programme with maximum daycare sessions = £2520 (or 3 x £840 paid every 4 weeks)

Puppy Start Right – Train Together

Perfect for puppies & owners who want to learn all the foundational training skills, but already have their doggy social circle sorted – this is my signature programme, minus the time spent in the daycare.

How It Works:

As with the Signature Programme, you will receive in-person, one-to-one training sessions with me every other week. These sessions take place at your home &/or out in your local area, depending on the topic of each lesson. I will guide you through all the important foundational skills your puppy needs & then hand over to you so that you can practise while getting feedback & guidance – sessions are practical & designed to leave you feeling confident in your handling skills. You are encouraged to send videos & messages via WhatsApp between sessions for added support & I will check in to keep you accountable (in a nice way!).

Cost:

£600 (or 3 x £200 paid every 4 weeks)

Puppy Start Right – Trained For You

Popular with owners who work full time – this is my full puppy training foundations curriculum, but taught to your puppy by me in the daycare.

How It Works:

Your puppy learns all their foundational life skills just as with my other programmes, but they are taught one-to-one with me in the daycare while you work (or have time for other things). This programme is designed with busy people in mind so there is no homework & no extra education or handover sessions, unless you want them. Instead, your puppy attends the daycare for a minimum of 2 sessions per week & you receive videos & photos letting you know what they’ve been up to & how they’re progressing through the programme – you can relax & settle back into your normal routines, knowing your puppy is being trained for you & will come home feeling tired & satisfied after a day at ‘school’.

Cost:

Trained For You with minimum daycare sessions = £840 (or £280 paid every 4 weeks)

As above, but with initial education session & final graduation handover session = £1170 (or £390 paid every 4 weeks)

Trained For You with maximum daycare sessions = £1920 (or £640 paid every 4 weeks)

As above, but with initial education session & final graduation handover session = £2250 (or £750 paid every 4 weeks)

Bespoke Training for Problem Behaviours

While all of my programmes are designed to cover problem behaviours along with teaching overall foundational skills, this training is for owners who are struggling with a specific issue & would like targeted help without joining a full programme.

How It Works:

Some issues can be sorted with a 2-day ‘masterclass’, educating you on the problem & providing practical solutions for you to implement over the coming weeks. We then have a follow-up session 4 weeks later to check in & make sure that the problem is resolved/improving appropriately & to give you a final handover sheet with proactive tips to make sure the problem doesn’t crop back up again. You will be encouraged to send videos & keep in contact via WhatsApp in the interim for support & accountability.

This is an intensive option for people who want to learn as much as possible about their puppy’s problem behaviour & are happy to have the responsibility of doing the work themselves, with much less support than my Puppy Start Right programmes. It is not suitable for all behaviour problems, (particularly separation anxiety, which requires a more long-term approach) but this will be discussed with you during our initial contact.
